Today ast-0.2.0_pre1 was released. Its been a long time since the last release of ast, partly because I've been busy and partly because a lot has changed in this this release. My main goal for ast-0.2.0 is to build the backend into a flexible and stable system. Most of the backend code was changed for this release to remove most if not all of the logic problems with the ast-0.1.x series. For example, you can now sort by a calculated column. The user interface has been improved quite a bit as well.
This release is a preview release however. It is intended to demo the new version of ast. I am looking for feedback on this release. There is a Submit Bug link on every page in the application. Please use this to tell me about bugs in the software. I would also like suggestions on how to improve the interface or user experience. If you have any ideas, please click that Submit Bug link. Any changes to the data format from here on will be compatible and upgrades will happen automatically.
If you are an ast-0.1.x user, you should not install this package over your existing package. Your data may be corrupted, the data format is not compatible! It is recommended that you preview this version along side your existing version. There is currently no way to get data from ast-0.1.x into ast-0.2.0, however a tool will be available when the final version of ast-0.2.0 is released.
The installation guide for ast-0.2.0_pre1 is available here. If you find any problems using this installation method, please submit a bug. |

Recently my email server's diskquota filled up. I have now made more space on the server but if you have emailed me in the last few days, the email may have been lost. Please try sending again. Thanks. |

I just moved this webpage over to Joomla!, an Open-Source CMS. My goal is to make the site easier to manage and maintain. So far I like Joomla! aside from a few minor bugs. What do you think? |
