AST takes it data from Yahoo Finance. Yahoo supports many markets, so there is a good chance AST supports the market you are looking for. However you may need to setup it up yourself. For information on how to create a new market, see this topic.
AST (as of 0.2.0_pre2) comes with built in support for:
- Toronto Stock Exchange
- TSX Venture
- New York Stock Exchange
- NASDAQ
- American Stock Exchange
- London Stock Exchange

- Milan Stock Exchange
