Stock Screener
The stock screener is a tool that helps your to find the best stocks the market has to offer. You specify one or more search criteria from the many available and AST will search the market and build a list of stocks which match those criteria. It supports many fundemental measures as well as the following technical indicators:
- Key Reversal
- High-Low Reversal
- Three Closes Rule
- Closing Price Reversal
- Key Reversal
- Gap Rule
- Island Rule
- Lindahl Buy Rule
- Lindahl Sell Rule
- Double Reversal Rule
- Price Crosses Over 25-bar Moving Average
- Price Crosses Over 40-bar Moving Average
- Price Crosses Over 200-bar Moving Average
- 25-bar Moving Average Crosses over 40-bar Moving
Average
- 3-bar and 6-bar Moving Average Crosses over 10-
bar Moving Average
- MACD Crosses over MACD Signal
- MACD Breakout

Most of the price patterns were taken from the book 'Timing the Stock Market' by Colin Alexander. The screenshot shown below is an example output from screen shown above. AST can also scan for technical patterns in an individual security. An example of such is shown below.
