ast-0.2.0_pre3 was released today. This release includes svn code up to version 135. The changes made were:
1. Fixed: In accurate calculations using variants
2. Fixed: Error on stock comparison chart when one security has smaller amount of data available.
3. Fixed: Delete broken on stock comparison.
4. Added report headers.
5. Fixed: symbol_list: stock 'HPQ' not found (bug #1510441)
6. Fixed: Could not add sectors (bug #1512492)
7. Added function to import ast-0.1.9 data (see Upgrading from ast-0.1.9 to ast-0.2.0).
8. Fixed: reports showing incorrect data.
9. Added support for Stockholm, Bombay, Sao Paolo, Oslo Madrid and Copenhagen stock exchanges.
10. Added a method to import a broker's statement into your portfolio
11. Fixed missing icons, other general interface tweaks
One of the cool new features in this version of AST is the ability to import broker's statement. This saves you all the trouble of manually entering all of your positions. This feature currently only supports E*Trade, since that is my broker and the only statements I have access to. If you would like your broker supported, please file a bug and include in the bug a sample of your statement. Feel free to change the numbers, but make sure you include the heading row of the table, a buy, a sell, a dividend, a split (if possible), a share dividend (if possible), example of rows which should be ignored.
Your feedback is very important to the development process. If ast does not work for you, please file a bug using the link built into the program. If you can think of a feature you would like, you can also file a bug for that. Finally, any workflow related issues should have bugs as well. An example of a workflow issue is; I'm on the alerts page and I want to be able to a chart of a security I have set an alert for. Basically anything that will remove any frustration or work for you and make ast easier to use. Thanks for your feedback! Enjoy this release.
