AST 0.2.4 was released on Dec 18 2006. There were many improvements and bug fixes in this version including:
- Consolidated Portfolios - You can now view 1 or more portfolios into a single portfolio. This allows you to keep them separate for recording purposes but view them as one.
- Portfolio Category Field - a free-form field which you can use to group your securities. It is summarised in the Diversification Summary

- Worksheets can now be viewed as comparisons
- New Dividend Growth Report
- New ADX indicator
- Many fixes to reports and stock screener (accuracy)
- Many new sectors, news feed from SeekingAlpha.com. To get these please delete your old files: var/data/sectors and var/data/feeds
- Fixed compliation errors on many systems
- User restrictions for public websites - control what your users can do. To enable, compile with --enable-sql.
- Many more bug fixes and improvements!
