Today ast-0.2.6 was released. The alerts feature was signficantly updated for 0.2.6. The alerts are now rendered (optionally) in HTML and contain much more information. There are 3 new alerts; Portfolio Summary, Report Summary and Stock Screener. The portfolio summay alert shows you how your portfolio did for the day and any news that was released. The reports alert just gives you the same information as if you went to the reports section in AST, but it comes in your inbox. The stock screener alert automatically runs a saved screen for you every day and emails you the results.
This release also corrects for a change in Yahoo's data format. Previous versions of AST no longer work with Yahoo Finance. You must upgrade to this version if you use Yahoo Finance.
